Hello everyone, I created a starter theme with a few common templates fully coded. I think most people like to start from scratch, but others may prefer to work with a base theme and tweak it to their needs. This also could be a useful code example for those learning how to use Couch.

  • Blog with home/folder/page views, commenting, and RSS feed
  • A lightbox can be easily added to the gallery
  • The blog and gallery are paginated
  • Functional contact form

You may download and use/modify this theme in any way that you want without any attribution to me. Enjoy! :)

Thanks, looks good.

This is interesting timing as I was thinking about posting a thread in regards to a possible place to post 'couch themes'. I have a few that I use as starters now and I thought others could benefit from them.

Any plans for a premium theme area?
Great idea to offer this starter theme for free. Looks good!

Hey cheesypoof, thanks for sharing this, but can I ask if it is still stable and up to date?

This theme will function just the same as when it was initially released. I haven't found any bugs since. You are free to use it as is or however you like. :)
