I recently updated a website to version 1.4.7 exactly as specified in the upgrade guidelines.

Most functionality seem to work, however, when I am trying to add a new image to a blog post using the in-built image manager and I click on "Browse Server" inside the "Image Property" window, I get the following error message:

Code: Select all
Incorrect .Htaccess file. Cannot rewrite it.

The opening window then stays white and I cannot add or manage images.

Any idea how to fix this?
That seems to be an error thrown by KCFinder.

Please try the following -
in the 'uploads' folder (this is usually 'couch/uploads' if you have not set a different location from couch/config.php), you should find a .htaccess file. Please delete it and try uploading a new image using KCFinder.

A new .htaccess file should get created by KCFinder and, hopefully, the error should disappear.

If not, please PM me your site's FTP+Couch creds and I'll take a look at the problem for you.
Yes, that worked. Thanks a lot.
You are welcome :) I'm glad it helped.
Hi, I've also got this problem. I have deleted the .htaccess from the uploads folder but no success.

I have changed my uploads folder to the root level so it now gets images from /image

Please can you help.
