Hi, I just noticed that with the new installation of couch 1.4.5 at the end of source code there is no more "Cached page served by CouchCMS", instead: "Page generated by CouchCMS".

Also noticed that the downloaded "couch" folder doesn´t have anymore the folder "cache" within it. Does this mean with this update cached pages are not being generated or are they being generated by other way?

Even I came to notice that just a couple of days back

I'm sorry but it has been an omission on my part.
I'll correct it but for now you can manually create a folder named 'cache' within the 'couch' folder and caching should begin to work as before.

Hi KK, I did try that in a new installation, I created the folder "cache" within couch and set "define( 'K_USE_CACHE', 1 );" in config but still no cache is generated, also tried it in a upgrade from 1.4 and the cache generated before is used but no new cache or .dat files are created after the upgrade

Did you try visiting pages as ordinary visitors? (i.e. while not being logged in as admin/super-admin, as these accounts are never served cached contents).

Can´t believe I missed that, it indeed is working but I was trying logged in as admin.....
