social media linking issue

we're facing some issues here with social media links,
we're trying to link to my social media pages, but while doing so header images are disappearing on those pages, very weird as we didn't have any problems with static version of the site, issue came up when converting to couch cms,

we're trying to link to my social media pages, but while doing so header images are disappearing on those pages,
Couldn't spot anything in the code you posted which could be causing this.
very weird as we didn't have any problems with static version of the site, issue came up when converting to couch cms
This should make it very easy to debug the problem.
Since you have a working static version with you, simply do a view-source of the Couchified version and compare the header images code with the static one. If you have used Couch right, the two versions should be functionally identical as Couch does not add a single byte of HTML markup on its own accord.

Please do a careful comparison and you should see the problem.

after careful comparison of the code and trying debugging we're still facing same issue, direct links on bottom don't work, actually we just noticed that in mobile view also menu doesn't show in my work inner/sub pages, please kindly see check it out here:

there's six of them all affected. Could you please help us find the bug and solve this?

OK. So did you find any difference between your static version and the one generated by Couch?

Can you let me know in more detail what exactly is not working? Is the HTML output wrong or what? What is your page is supposed to do normally and what is it doing now?

ok, thought I've been clear enough, hope this help, social media links at the very bottom of the page don't work, they don't redirect to respective urls.
in Mobile view on iphone menu doesn't appear at all making impossible to navigate on work inner pages, they're 6 pages.

Menu Issue seems to affect only safari browser, while social media broken links is also on other browsers chrome, uf

I didn't understand the problem until your last reply. The best way to avoid this type of back-and-forth is to be as descriptive as possible at the outset.

Open your web developer console (Ctrl + Shift + K in Firefox) and click on one of the social links. You have JavaScript errors; there is an extraneous script tag right before your Google Analytics script which is causing a syntax error.

thank you for your reply and help, we have partially fixed the issue, links open now however they won't open a new tab..any ideas why this could happen?

and most importantly menu issue is still there, in mobile view on safari browser menu doesn't show rendering impossible navigation, could you please help us find out what's wrong with it?
we tried hard, debugging but eventually failed to spot the problem

As implied in my previous post, you have a JavaScript event listener bound to clicks on the social links. It is that JS which is interfering with the default behavior (with target="_blank") of opening the page in a new window/tab.

In Firefox, right click on a link, hit Q to inspect the element and you will see "ev" next to it. Click on that icon to pinpoint the responsible script.

I don't have access to non-iOS Safari. Nevertheless, this is outside the scope of Couch. In the past I have had success consulting some of the freenode IRC channels. I am sure they won't disappoint...
