Hi.

I take a look in others topic with almost the same subject, but my problem persists.
I'll try to be clear in my explanation.

I activate the pretty urls option in config.php, and make the .htacces file in the root directory of the site. And with the test_rewrite/rewrite.php i get: HTTP_MOD_REWRITE is set!
And now, only the index.php page works, and the others take me to:

Not Found
The requested URL /somos.php was not found on this server.
Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at localhost Port 80

I don't know if the problem could be that i had a .htacces file before, and i added the content of gen_htacces directly, and now my htacces lokks like that (the attached part is in the bottom of the code):

I also try creating a .htacces file with only the gen_htacces content, but the problem was the same.

A thing that I find strange is that if i put the mouse over the link in the index.php working-page, the browser said: localhost/agrandale/somos/,
and the 404 Not found message said: The requested URL /somos.php was not found on this server. (removing localhost/agrandale)

My files has this locations:
localhost/agrandale/index.php
localhost/agrandale/somos.php
localhost/agrandale/.htacces

Really i don't know what can i do. Thanks a lot for who can help me.
And sorry if this question is solved in another topic, but i couldn't find it. Please link me.

Thanks a lot.
Hi,

From the location of the files you mentioned, it is clear that you have installed Couch in a sub-folder of the web-root (i.e. http://localhost/agrandale/ as opposed to http://localhost/).

This needs to reflected in the generated .htaccess file as follows -
Please find the following directive
#If your website is installed in a subfolder, change the line below to reflect the path to the subfolder.
#e.g. for http://www.example.com/subdomain1/subdomain2/ make it RewriteBase /subdomain1/subdomain2
RewriteBase /

and change it to
#If your website is installed in a subfolder, change the line below to reflect the path to the subfolder.
#e.g. for http://www.example.com/subdomain1/subdomain2/ make it RewriteBase /subdomain1/subdomain2
RewriteBase /agrandale

Try not to mix your existing .htaccess with the Couch generated one to begin with. Add it only when you are sure that ours works as expected.

Hope this helps.
That works!

Thank a lot.

Only two questions:

When i tried to generate by /gen_htaccess.php, i got an empty page. I don't know why (but i take the one that i've posted in the topic and it worked...).

I had troubles with some cloned pages to link with. I found a trick, and is by changing the k_page_name for another else, and the links works perfect after that.

And one more time thanks a lot for your time.

Please login into the admin-panel as super-admin. Then manually type the URL of 'gen_htaccess.php' in the same browser window and you should get the output. The point being that only admins will see the output. Everyone else gets a blank page.

Hope this helps.
Thanks one more time.

That was the solution.
Finally everything works perfect.

A grateful one.
