I have successfully added the Couch tags to my "About Us" page and that page is now editable through Couch admin panel. But if I add the tags to another page, it simply hides that lines of text from the frontend and moves the images around. Plus, the page is not editable in Couch admin panel. Do you now why it is doing this?

You mentioned "the page is not editable in Couch admin panel".
So clearly the editable region did not get added properly.
As to why this happened, I'll be able to say only after I see the complete template.
