Hey guys,
So a silly question: When I declare a template as clonable, a default clonable template shows up in the admin.. Can I use this template itself as my first clonable page or should I keep it as it is for any specific purpose (and add a new page as the first page?
Hi,

You may change the name/title of the default page and use it as a normal page.
Or you may just unpublish it so that it comes last in the admin listing and does not show up on the front-end at all.

You cannot delete the default page.
Because if you do, Couch simply creates a new one.

Therefore I personally choose the second option. I also usually rename the unpublished page as 'DO NOT DELETE'. This prevents the user from deleting the page which would result in a new default page cropping up in pages listing and confusing him.

Hope this helps.
Thanks KK. I generally do the same (i.e. rename and unpublish the page)... just thought I'd check anyway... thanks!
