I was looking at your original post and trying to figure out why the YouTube video didn't work for you in the first place. After a minute or two, I noticed that your editable region has the name "embed_video" while on the front end you use the tag <cms:show video />.

Is it possible that all of this effort and confusion comes down to a simple typo?
@tim: Thanks a ton... It worked smooth... the video is now playing on the page... This is cool!!!

@KK Sir: This trick worked too good!!! I guess we should put this up on Tips and Tricks, if you suggest... Am saying so, just coz I have come across many people who are facing problems with the HTML5 video tag... And also this stuff that "tim" told is a cake walk for embedding the videos from youtube... Plus as you said, its good to save our bandwidth and use the free one!!!
