I have a clients website running Couch. Its been up for a while now but suddenly its displaying a fatal error. See www.karateforkids.com.au

Nothing has been changed.

Can you possibly shed any light onto what might be happening?

Hi Mark,

I think the site is using an older version of Couch. Your host must have upgraded the server to use a later version of PHP and this would be causing the problem.

Please upgrade to the latest version of Couch (1.4). I think that'd solve the problem.

I thought that might be the case. Is there documentation on how to upgrade, I couldn't find it in the docs.

The installation zip contains a file named UPGRADE.txt.
You'll find all the instructions in there.

It is desirable that the database be backed up before the upgradation process.
