I've translated couch/lang/IT.php (attached) and I've downloaded full ckeditor version 4.3.1. Then I've added couch/includes/ckeditor/lang/it.js and I've changed couch/includes/ckeditor/config.js to enable italian language. When I try to edit richtext area I got a blank text area with error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'ltr' of undefined

in javascript console. All works well if I restore english language in ckeditor.

What's wrong?

I downloaded your translation and tried duplicating all the steps you mentioned and everything worked just fine - I can see CKEditor's interface in Italian.

I think you are using a wrong version of 'it.js'.
Please download the current version's language pack from
http://www.couchcms.com/ckeditor_431_lang.zip
and use the it.js present in that.

Many thanks! This works well, probably I've used the wrong it.js files. Soon I check and update full italian translation, so you could include in couchcms versions if you want.
