This is a preschool charity website littlerobins-boston.co.uk with a pro version of couch
it was last updated using couchcms may last year.
when they tried to update this year, they could not remember their password, there was no problem with resetting it, so couchcms appears to be OK , the problem is that when an attempt is made to log on, it displays a message,
503 service unavailable powered by litespeed webserver

Thanks for the offer of support
Its now solved, the problem was not strictly speaking a Couchcms problem.
The hosting company had changed its default PHP to the latest version without notifying me, setting it back to the earlier version cured the problem.
