I'm using a blackberry phone to upload files to an online server, this is taking quite some time, I'm afraid a client might view the incomplete site and assume that's my full capacity in web design!

In couch/config.php there's a definition for a maintenance mode, which I've set to '1' and is doing the job.

But I do not want the default notification that viewers are presented with upon arriving at my site, I hav a custom made banner I'd like them to see instead.
How can this be done?

If you place a file named '503.php' in the root folder of your site (can be a simple PHP file or a Couch managed template), Couch will automatically serve its contents when the site is down for maintenance.
