I'm running the open-source version of CMS. I've added the pages with the content which I want to leave editable, but I want to delete one whole page from the admin panel, because it won't exist anymore.

any thoughts?

Hi,

I suppose you mean how to remove a template from the admin-panel.

To do so, simply remove the physical template from the server.
Coming back to the admin panel (as super-admin), you'll see that Couch would have sensed that the physical template is missing and will show you a message informing this.

If the template has existing cloned pages or drafts you'll be prompted to delete them before Couch removes the template from the admin-panel.
Else, you'll get a button prompting you to remove the template from Couch straightaway.
