Hi, I'm sorry that I'm not even sure how to explain my problem.

I've had the couch set up and working fine for the last couple weeks, and then all of sudden when I would go to the main index page of my site, it reads Page Not Found: (http://bit.ly/16pRope)

However, when I try to view a cloned page, it shows up fine: (http://bit.ly/1cUCugO)

In addition --- now I can't even access the couch directory: (http://bit.ly/19ErFy9) - there's an Internal Server Error Message ??
Hello and welcome :)

I cannot see the Internal Server Error. Does it happen once you login into the admin panel?
As for the 'Page not found' error, that would require further digging into.
Can you grant me temporary FTP + Couch access to your site?

Thanks
Sorry! I'm not even sure how to do that.

And btw, the Internal Server Error has disappeared. The only problem now seems to be that the main php 'blog list' page is saying Page Not Found Error, while the individual cloned posts appear fine if you manually type them in.

I think it all happened when I deleted three or four posts from the admin.

Now I'm thinking of going into the database and manually cleaning it up somehow ?
OK, try this first. It could help.

Login as super-admin into the admin-panel.
Just take a mental note of all the cloned pages being listed for index.php.
Now in the same browser (i.e. still logged-in as super-admin), visit index.php on the front-end (the URL that is throwing 404 error).
Come back to the admin-panel and take a look at the list of pages of index.php.

You should see a new page named 'Default page for index.php * PLEASE CHANGE THIS TITLE *'.
Does this happen? If it does, that 404 problem is solved.

Please let me know.
Thanks.
!!!!

Thank you, it's working. Should I delete the page that now says *PLEASE CHANGE.....

Or should I save it for some reason?

I'm afraid to disturb it now.
That is the 'default' cloned page for index.php. Every template has one and if you delete it, Couch will simply recreate it.

Actually this is what the original problem was - You deleted the default page and then the Internal Server Error prevented you from logging in as admin so the system couldn't recreate it. This was the 'missing page'.

As for what to do with it - as I mentioned, it is futile to delete it.
Normally, people just rename it and use it as one of the cloned pages. However, if you don't have any requirement of creating another cloned pages just now, simply 'unpublish' it (from the 'Advanced settings' dropdown menu of Edit).

Hope this helps.
