When I try to add editable code to the HTML page and change it to php I get this error

Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

I am using wamp server on my local machine.

It is not uncommon for XAMPP/WAMP to display such kind of erratic behaviour. You'll almost never come across these problems once the site is migrated to a proper hosted server.

I suggest you please use the portable version of Couch available from our downloads section (please scroll down the page a little). It is a fully configured, tried and tested, ready-to-use stack (and will not interfere with your local services).
