The problem is that the php5.ini file placed in your site is not taking effect (this can be verified by placing a phpinfo(); call within a .php file and seeing the output - the php.ini file mentioned as being in effect is not the one placed in the site).

I found the following from GoDaddy KB -
Why isn't my php.ini file taking effect?
http://support.godaddy.com/help/article ... ing-effect

Maybe this would help?
I will go try that right now...what's funny is now the site is telling me that the index.php file is corrupted. Strange. I will let you know the results after I try the godaddy article you sent me.
Okay...so I ended three sessions...then replaced the index.php file...then it said header.php was corrupted. So, I reuploaded the couch folder. Deleted the htaccess file and now I get the pretty installation screen.

Great find! Let's see what kind of trouble I can get into now that i can install it. :-)

Wow...install was super quick and succesfully logged in.

One more thing...I have logged into the backend but only options I have is Hello Admin, View Site, Logout and in the left column, Users.

Where are the tools that I use to build the site?
Phew! I sure am glad :)

As for how to build the site, may I request you to please take a look (very cursory will do) at
http://www.couchcms.com/docs/tutorials/portfolio-site/ ?
