I have uploaded couch into a folder called couch. I have unzipped the aurelias into the root and that comes up. The problem lies when I got to www.mysite.com/couch, I get a 500 server error. I have renamed config.example.php to config.php and entered in my db and hosting credentials. I think it must be something to do with the htaccess file but I am not sure.

Any insight is appreciated.

Please try deleting the .htaccess file present within the 'couch' folder.

I have tried that and no luck. I just get a completely blank page and no error.

OK so that means the .htaccess problem has been rectified.
The blank page suggests a different problem - that your server does not have IonCube properly configured.
Please ask your host for directions on enabling IonCube.

No luck with Godaddy. They said the way I have it is correct. I am to add a php5.ini file and insert the line in there and upload to my site. I have done these two things. Any other suggestions?
