Is it possible to have client to put the site offline, without having to change config.php file?

I thought of it, when thinking of possibility that client messes up the site somehow - hope this won´t happen , but what if it does....

Then it would be good for client to have this option and turn the site off until they contact anyone for help....

Hi Tanja,

The site offline feature is actually meant for the site-developer/designer so placing it in config file makes sense.
I am afraid, but out of the box, there is no provision to allow the end-user (client) to do so from the admin-panel.
