I am having trouble using the "KCfinder" adding files and links to our richtext. We havent changed anything on our server, and we have checked all the file settings to be correct 755. Its KCfinder 2.51.

We run site on a PHP 5.6.

Any advice?

What does server's error log say? Maybe storage space is running out? Anyways, there is no harm in setting everything 0777 temporarily to see if the problem is gone. Search revealed another similar topic viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12017#p32832

Consider upgrading to latest CouchCMS version (from github repo) and PHP7.

Thanks - I have identified a file with a special character "ø" that the script could not handle. After changing the special character it worked.
