Hi All, firstly, let me thank KK for such a useful tool, the more I delve into it the better it gets.

Up to now I've been building a site on version 1.7, but wanted to upgrade to V.2. I followed upgrade instructions and everything seemed OK. However, as I suspected a problem with the search (which turned out to be my error), I reverted back to the original 1.4.7 version. Again all OK. Now having checked everything again, I changed it back to V.2. Now I have a Problem.

I get:
Could not successfully run query: Duplicate column name 'type'

I tried reverting back to the older version again. But I still get the same message. Now I'm stuck.

I looked at the DB with PHPMyAdmin, and see no obvious duplicates. Not being used to fiddling with databases I'm not sure where to go now. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone point me in the right direction on the database where the problem might be?

Hi,

Please try doing the following -

Access the database using phpMyAdmin (or any DB tool of your choice).
Find the 'couch_settings' table, then the row in it with 'k_key' showing 'k_couch_version'.
Set the 'k_value' of this row to -

2.0

Thank you for your reply KK. I did manage to get the old version back up and running, by deleting the complete Couch folder and reloading a previously saved version. However, a further upgrade still sent this message, so will try your suggestion.
