@KK First of all thanks for pointing out that openlitespeed is fully compatible. Maybe i messed with the OLS settings 
What caused this issue and how did you solved it (for future referance )

@Alex, it was a bug in Couch.
You can find the fix at https://github.com/CouchCMS/CouchCMS/co ... d036080de6
** UPDATE **
This bug has been patched in the installation zip downloadable from our main site.
For those using an earlier release of v1.4.5, attached is the patched 'functions.php' file.
Please put it into your installation's 'couch' folder to overwrite the existing 'functions.php' file -
