I'd like to manually move the powered by CouchCMS as well, it would look nice in my footer. Any way to do that? Thanks.
Hi and welcome barrlley :)
Removing the footer link requires a license. Please PM me your site's URL and I'll be glad to get you a complimentary license.

Hello and welcome Stefan,

I suppose you haven't noticed but Couch is open-source now (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7509).

Please download it from http://www.couchcms.com/products/
The FAQ on the same page has instructions on how to remove the footer link.

Do let us know if require any help.

Hi, I know this is an old thread..

I too am new here, and I really need to reposition the "Powered By CouchCMS". I am more than happy to keep it and link back, but it does need moving slightly.

Thanks
Hello and welcome Henry :)

Couch is open-source now so you are at liberty to place the link anywhere you like.
The FAQ on our downloads page at http://www.couchcms.com/products/
has instructions on how to do so.

Hope this helps.
complimentary??
these :geek:'s wont ever pay then!!

Though I admit, a custom link looks awesome 8-)

Hello,

I too would like to move the 'Powered By Couch CMS' to another place on the website (inside the footer, right now its disrupting my layout flow), the website is currently in its development stages http://www.coordinatedseniorservices.com.

My email is: david@encorewebplus.com

Thanks,
David,

Please edit the 'couch/config.php' file and set the following to '1'
Code: Select all
define( 'K_REMOVE_FOOTER_LINK', 0 );

That will remove the link.
You can manually code the link back at any other place of your choice.

Hope this helps.
