I decided to install Couch v2 - I get a 500 error when attempting to install it. Couch 1.4.x works fine - using the same host.

I have tried downloading the install files again, checking permissions on the files after uploading them to the host, double checked the config.php.

Any ideas? I guess I am doing something silly but can't spot it.
Hi,

Could you please check the error log for your server? Perhaps it'd give some clue?
Also please try deleting the .htaccess file within the 'couch' folder.
I've removed the .htaccess and checked the server logs, only error is my lack of a 500.shtml page. Anything else I should look for?
If you wish, I can take a look at the issue myself.
Please PM me the FTP creds to your site (I might need access to the database, so if possible, get me access to phpMyAdmin also).
thanks for the offer KK but I have resolved the issue. Had a .htaccess file with some funny rewrites going on. removed it and all good now.
