Sorry for the late reply, I've been away from my computer for some time! I followed all the instructions and re-did it and I had some minor issues with absolute paths which I resolved and its now working like a charm! Thank you KK!

I got the same problem.

I tested, and mod_rewrite is set, as you can see on this link: http://www.sailpiraeus.com/test_rewrite/rewrite.php

But when I put .htaccess file in my site's root, I got "500 Internal Server Error".

EDIT: I need to solve this ASAP, so any help would be appreciated.

Agree, great post ^^^. Nevertheless, isn't it for good that people can have one problem less in life? Maybe now he can spend more time fixing layout issues for smaller screens . Peace
