Hello all,

I have a peculiar issue pertaining to inline/on-page editing on a development site (hosted on my own live server)...

In any inline richtext field (with the CKEditor), attempting to use the "Browse Server" function when adding a hyperlink (as shown in the attached picture) results in the following error being displayed:

Security tokens do not tally for executing this action. Please try again.

In fact, using "Browse Server" for any function within an inline CKEditor window shows this error.

The error occurs regardless if I am logged in as a regular Administrator or Super Admin. However, it does not occur if I am editing the fields within the Admin Panel.

Diagnostic info:
[*] PHP Version is latest (5.6.16)
[*] Logged out and back in again; no effect
[*] I have cleared my cache/cookies; no effect
[*] Tried with K_CACHE on and off; no effect

If anyone can shed some light on what's causing this issue, and -- more ideally -- how to fix it, it would be immensely appreciated.

I had a look and couldn't reproduce the problem you reported - I could browse all images on the server and upload images just fine (from front-end index.php in inline edit mode). The browse button from specifically the link part that you mentioned also worked just fine (though there were no files on the server to link to).

So the problem, it seems, is specific to your end.
I suggest you please try using a different browser and then (if necessary) a different machine to see if that makes any difference.

The problem still persists for me in other browsers (IE10, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), but on second look, I may have been a little unclear in my initial post...

Indeed, clicking the "Edit" link, and using those functions in the popup edit mode works just fine.

However, by "inline", I mean editing the text in-place -- inside the yellow region -- and using the mini toolbar that appears just beside it. In this mode, the error is consistent for me, even in other browsers.

I'm not sure which mode you tried. With that in mind, if you don't mind checking out the page again to see if the behaviour occurs for you, that would be much appreciated.

Hi JKY,

I'm attaching a patch for the problem you reported.

Please extract the 'scripts.php' file present in the attached zip and place it in 'couch/addons/inline/view' folder (thus replacing the existing file of the same name).

Please let me know if this fixes the issue.

I'm super happy to report that the patch worked! The browse functionality now works in inline editing for links, images, etc, just like all other modes.
