Just started on trying out Couch and a question came to mind and I couldn't find the answer in the documentation. If I have a "block", like a footer, that I want on (almost) every page, it would be nice if I can create a separate block footer.php, then include it in the template, so if the footer changes, then editing will only be needed once. Is this possible in Couch? If yes, how to achieve this?
Hi cowgirl :)

I think you'll find the solution described in our tutorial useful - please see the 'Global values' section on the following page
http://www.couchcms.com/docs/tutorials/ ... -ends.html

Do let us know if something remains unclear.
Thanks.
Hi KK,
Thank you for the helpful reply! I ended up reading the entire page you provided and putting my "blocks" as I like to call them (header, footer, navigation, etc.) in html snippets which I embedded into the .php template files with the <cms:embed 'myblock.html' /> :)

Finally managed to dig into the inline/popup editor and I just adore CouchCMS already! Can't wait to dig deeper into this wonderful CMS I've been wanting for a long time. They did an excellent job on the inline/popup editor! Giving 100% control to the designer and a useful interface for end-users without the possibility of messing things up (by providing only the necessary fields to them)!
You are welcome, @cowgirl.
I'm glad you liked Couch :)
