Just a suggestion to use a http://imperavi.com/redactor/ as a WYSIWYG. Have been using it before in different projects, can recommend. The best looking web-wysiwyg out there, imo.

Huge thumbs up for Redactor! It would really elevate the overall UX of Couch Admin. I see a competitor using it (hint, hint!)

Looks good but two issues for now -
1. Uses JQuery. Current Couch admin runs on Mootools but the GUI slated for 1.4.5 will move on to JQuery. So, we'll have to defer it till then.
2. $399 license cost for bundling it with Couch. Any thoughts on this?

If it's only for the looks, cheesyproof has a look a like skin ready for ckeditor. It's somewhere on the forum... I use that one as well because i really dislike the default skin.
As a thought, maybe only in the licensed versions if it doesn't mess up future builds of couch.
I'm all up for improvement on UX but haven't looked into the mentioned editor yet.
