Hello,

I would like to ask a "seemingly silly question".
Couch CMS (and many of alternatives) works as Joomla (and many of alternatives?)?

So if i have a working website than i can convert it to CMS and able to managed as:

For exmaple my site contain:

- slider on home page
- gallery for our products
- we have news on the left side
- we have daily specials what we put to the start page

So with CCMS we can we.
- create new menu item with new page?
- to this new page i can put for example:a side bar, activate moduls (like login modul, like calendar..etc..)
- add or remove images from gallery
- etc...

Or CCMS is rather for manage the text on my existing website (and images..)?

Thank's who enlighten me!

Hello Holian :)

Answering your question - you can certainly do all the things you listed with Couch.
However, the way Couch works is quite different from how Joomla! and other conventional CMSs work.

To know exactly how, you'll have to really see it in action.
I suggest you please just browse through the seven odd pages we have in our illustrated tutorial - http://www.couchcms.com/docs/tutorials/portfolio-site/

It will show you how a full-fledged site is Couchified from start to finish.

You don't have to actually setup the whole thing and follow the instructions. Just browse through it and, I'm sure, you'll get to know almost everything to make an informed decision.

Do let us know if you have any questions or doubts.

Thanks.
