Going back to the multi file uploader issue on the site I am working on from the other day, I emailed the host and they said there are quite a few errors and asked if is installed correctly so said yes as added the db tables etc. all ok but just put in php error reporting and got the following errors showing

they all look like couch cms related, is that right?

if so how would I fix it, would I need to install couch cms again?

I am really stuck and don't get why it is happening, I got rid of couch cms completely from the database tables to the coding etc. and downloaded the files again and uploaded them and put the coding in on for the gallery.php page following the tutorial for the photo gallery and still getting errors and don't know why?

is it a hosting issue or a couch cms issue?

Ian,

None of the reported messages are errors. Rather, they are all 'notices' (helpful during development) and can be safely ignored so don't worry about those at all.

The default error reporting set by Couch turns these messages off so you never get to see them.
I think since you have changed the error reporting level, you are getting that output. Please revert back whatever changes you made to error reporting to get rid of these.

I don't get why the multi file uploader just keeps loading though, I don't get what can cause it

From what I've seen, it is the AJAX requests that are getting terminated abnormally. Perhaps that could give your host some clue about the cause?

Yeah I emailed him yesterday saying what you said and his reply was the following

The server is working otherwise you wouldn't be seeing the error which is listed when you go to the domain.

Your CMS appears to be missing some files.

eg looking at the domain it asks you to define the URL in the config.php file and your hosting doesn't have a config.php file in the correct location.

You have all the files its looking for in the CMS folder so it can't locate it.

Which CMS is this?
Are you certain this is installed correctly?

The problem seems to be with yourselves. The problem is that your server is terminating the connections randomly.

Loopbacks are the issue, not allowed so I don't understand why this would be different.

If you have spoken to the CMS developer have they mentioned if the uploader requires loopbacks to work?

If so you'll need to set the CMS to use the alternate cron

I am lost with the couch cms uploader issue, I have got couchcms in another test site and the file uploader is working perfect on that site so I copied the files from that site and put them in the one that is having the issues and just altered the config file and am having the same issue still, I don't get how it can work on one site perfect and not work in another that is hosted by the same host that this site is on that is having the issues

I really don't get it

Is a shame really as is a good CMS, can anyone please help me

the file uploader just keeps trying to load and don;t get why but works perfect on the other test site when I go onto that gallery page in the couch cms admin side and choose gallery and select browse server, it loads up perfect and works but this site just keeps trying to load
