I've carefully set up all my richedit fields to constrain text formatting to exactly what we designed for the site. However, when the user pastes in text that has styles on it (for example, from a Word document), those styles are retained.

Is it possible to force paste operations to paste only raw, unformatted text?

Hello Brian,

This behavior is common to almost all wysiwyg editors.
I know of only two reliable ways of working around it -

1. Press the 'source' button of the richtext editor and paste the contents in there.

2. First paste the contents into a simple text editor (e.g. notepad) and then copy from there to paste into the richtext editor.

Either way, you'll have to train your client to take an extra step if she wants to cut/paste richtext contents.
