I created notifications via email with PHPMailer when new comments are waiting for approval and it's working nice. Also I was wondering if there is a way to notify from the admin panel if there are any new notifications pending, something like this :



If there is only one comment, the icon is changed like in the first half of the image and if there are more than one, the icon from the second half of the image takes it's place.

If you want, i can give the .gif for both the icons.
