getting invalid file error when trying to upload pdfs via the uploader...is there a way to make pf a valid extension? All I see in the resource type dropdown is image. any help is appreciated.

The following thread shows how to add file extensions that are allowed -

Thing is, pdf is already in that list.
So please check if the list has been modified in any manner.
