Is it possible to create mobile-friendly sites using this CMS?
So far it's perfect for my client, looking at buying the unbranded package - but it would be a total dealbreaker if it's not mobile friendly (a lot of their clients are likely to be accessing via this method).

Couch is actually 'markup agnostic' - that is to say neither does it care how your HTML is structured nor does it modify it in any way.
Which means - if your original HTML/CSS design is mobile friendly, that is how it will remain after Couch is added to the equation.

So to answer your question - yes, it is certainly possible to create mobile friendly sites with Couch provided your original design is mobile friendly to begin with.

Awesome - I wasn't sure if it would interfere in any way! Been a long time since I've used any sort of CMS... think PHP Nuke back in 2005
