Is there any way to adjust the width of the CMS EDIT screen?

The very next Couch release will include a new admin panel theme (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7451) which among other things, fully utilizes the available viewport width.
Presently however you would need to edit the theme's CSS files in the couch/theme/ folder.
