Hello,

First time user of couch -- so far I have built a blog and comments section for my site. However, I was wondering if there is way to utilize cms forms to make changes to editable fields.

For example, I have a cloneable "About Us" page. Each cloned page has a picture and a bio. I would like to have the bio be editable through a form directly on the page.

Security issues aside, is something like this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Sam
Hello and welcome, Sam.

Couch v1.4RC (currently downloadable from viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7713) has a 'Front-end submission' feature that makes exactly this kind of functionality possible.
You can find a full discussion about it at http://www.couchcms.com/docs/concepts/d ... forms.html

However, I must add here that since you are using 'about-us' as a clonable template, in all probability you'll want multiple users to access their own page and change their info. This would be difficult as Couch does not currently have a full-fledged user/access-control module yet.
Amazing! I'll give the example a try.

Thank you!
