there are lot of contents and listing pages etc involved in the site.

so how easy will it be transfer the whole site to his server once its completed?

will that be a complicated process.. as a i am a newbie in to development, pls guide me

thanks
Hi,

Please take a look at
Migrating from development to deployment server.

It cannot get any easier moving your contents to a new location.

Hope this helps.
Thank you for that..and it sounds great!

one more thing is that, the new site which I am about develop has dropdown menus in it.

actually it is like products>subproducts>sub catagories...like that.

so my question is, can we add something in couch, where in when user adds a new page, automatically the link will be updated(a new dropdown item will be added to the existing dropdown menu)which will link to the newly added page(catagory)?

appreciating your help..(and once the site is live I will surely go for the PRO version )......
Hi,

You can use nested pages to create the kind of menu you mention.
Please take a look at http://www.couchcms.com/docs/concepts/n ... maker.html where we discuss it in detail.

Hope this helps.
