Did anyone use Couch's Paypal functionality lately?
I would like to know if sending custom data to Paypal and receiving it back via IPN still works? Since Paypal's documentation is a bit of a mess, I can't find a clear answer. The thing is that I read they changed how custom data can be sent along with the other info from Paypal button, some even say it is not possible anymore.
My use case is this. I need to generate custom PDF's based on the values users enter in web form. If the payment is successful, I generate the PDF's and send email to buyer.
It works with Stripe as payment gateway, I am a bit confused how to make it work with Paypal.

Hi,

PayPal's documentation has indeed become a confusing mess with several overlapping methods now available.
That said, the method used by Couch's PayPal button (and cart) still functions just the same and you may safely use it.
