Thanks @winkletweb.

Have pushed the fix. Please test.
Wow that was quick! Yes, seems to be fixed now, thanks :)
All this time I was ok with simply dropping down to PHP7.1 in UniServer, but now I'm giving Ubuntu 20.04 a try and decided to install LAMPP, and port my website over to Ubuntu (from Windows 10)

It's been a nightmare of it's own trying to figure out how to get to PHP7.1, after discovering this thread I thought my headaches were over. but...
First couch gave me mysqli issues, then when I finally got to the "install couch" screen, the following message came up:

Code: Select all
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /opt/lampp/htdocs/simmons2020/couch/tags.php on line 5787

and then it now looks like the database I exported from Uniserver and imported in LAMPP just made things worse.
I'm stuck now

Couch wants to install afresh

@cholasimmons, the installation warning has been fixed - please use the latest commit from GitHub.

For moving from one system to another you could have used gen_dump.php (https://docs.couchcms.com/miscellaneous ... erver.html).
