Forum for discussing general topics related to Couch.

Good day,

I'm trying to figure out how I can customise the admin panel (I want to see how much I can customise it so I can determine whether it will work for the clients needs or not).
I've gotten some basic CSS styling right, but now I am trying to change the sidebar content.

For starters, instead of "Templates" I would like the word "Pages" to appear. I would also like to create my own categories and add my own menu items. How can I go about doing this?

Also, it is possible to inform the Admin Panel design by using Couch settings? For example, say I had a "settings.php" page with a input field for a user name, and I wanted to display that username in a special way in the admin panel, how could I do that?

Thanks in advance! Sorry for the weird question, let me know if I can clarify anything!
Hi,

You might also find the following thread discussing specifically sidebar customization useful -

Hope this helps.
