Hello everyone, I just started learning to use couch and find it very amazing.

However, I intend to use it to build a content site with monthly or yearly subscriptions using couchcart with paypal and/or any other payment processing. The subscriptions allow for turning off ads and access to certain premium links. Now my question is whether this is currently doable with couch and any pointers as to how to pull this off. Thank you
Hi Craig,

At the moment, I am sorry, CouchCart is pretty basic and does not support (of many things) subscriptions.
Thanks for your timely reply KK, actually i'm not looking for something automatic or advanced per se. Basically a token in form of a text file can be purchased as a downloadable good, now filling the contents of the text file in some sort of a form automatically changes the user privileges to a special privilege. Generating the token and creating the access form is the crux. Please what are your thoughts? Thanks.
Thanks for clarifying, Craig.

If you are willing to put in some effort, it shouldn't be too difficult to code that kind of functionality (actually even full-fledged subscription or any other thing for that matter).

The key would be having a good understanding of 'DataBound Forms' (http://docs.couchcms.com/concepts/databound-forms.html).
We also have an 'advanced' tutorial that you should find helpful - viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8981

Please take a look at the aforementioned resources and let me know if you think you can do that.
Alright KK, I'll do just that and thanks again for your help. When I check and consume the resources I'll definitely let you know about it
