I am making a ratings website, which basically consists of a databound form for submission of ratings, and another page with <cms:pages that just searches the created pages and shows the different statistics. Is there any way I can average the results from these pages to make something like an executive summary?

Are you using Couch Votes addon (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8133)? Query database directly with SQL function AVG(), if that's what you need.
