Is there a way to sort the order of uploaded gallery images please?

This is a dirty trick for achieving what you want (if its only about images in a gallery).

Please go to advance settings and change the date/time of the images you uploaded to a sequence of your choice.

For example:
There are 3 images, viz:
1.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:00
2.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:00
3.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:00

and now you want the sequence to be:
3.jpeg
1.jpeg
2.jpeg

so you can make the following changes:
1.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:02
2.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:01
3.jpeg : Uploaded on/at - Sep 28 2016 @ 00:00

You can use this for lesser number of images as too many images will be cumbersome. The advanced setting can be found at:

Whereas if you want to just change the folder ordering, you can use the weight option in the folders defined dynamically. Remember: Higher the value, lower the folder will appear in list. Can be set to negative.

@ianhaney50, as an alternative to what @genxcoders suggested, you could upgrade to Couch v2.0 that supports setting the display order manually (quite like nested-pages).

ahh ok, have you got the link to upgrade to couchcms and does it affect anything or do I need to change anything or does it update all itself by a online upgrade installer script?
