I'll need some more info about your use-case to be able to propose any solution.

The drop-down, I presume, would be shown on the front-end. Would it be a simple list or be hierarchical? Will the values point to links to existing pages etc.

Please post here the static HTML markup that would want to be eventually generated and I'll get back with the code to make it editable and dynamic.
