i have set the order tag for one of my templates to "1" but it shows at the bottom of the list...am I missing something?

@aman2187, that is expected behavior

The docs state -

The smaller the number set as the order, the higher up the template appears in the list.

or in other words, the greater the number, the lower it gets displayed. By default all templates have a value of 0 so the one you set to 1 comes last.

Ideally you should specify this parameter for all templates. However, as a shortcut you can try using a negative value for the template in question e.g. -1 will come above 0.

Of course, as @tim mentioned, make sure to visit the template as super-admin for the change to be picked up by Couch.
