Hello I work with couchcms and love the concept of simplicity. I use it for smaller sites, my customer can edit data on existing pages. Works brilliant!

To go one step forward, I want to use the CMS for a mid-sized websites. Therefore I need to know little more about the CMS Basics:

- My customer wants to add new pages to his websites. He wants to choose where the page is categorized in the menu. My suggestion would be to clone an existing page, tell the menu where to show up. I place about five templates with different content areas he can choose from. (eg. page with one image and text, page with the horizontal image and text, page with three images,...)

Can I achive this with cloneed pages or is couchcms made for single php pages without the option to add more by the application interface.

I am looking forward to hear from you. Thanks for this excellent CMS. Let's see how far we get and power bigger sites witch the couch ;-)

If I'm not wrong, the only thing available for this are nested pages http://www.couchcms.com/docs/concepts/nested-pages-aka-menu-maker.html Take a look, hopefully this will satisfy your/your clients needs.
@chichi,

While we can certainly implement what you want, I'll have to ask you - are you sure this is exactly what you want?
Could you please post in an example menu where the constituent pages *all* have different data structures?

Awaiting reply.
Thanks.
