Hello,

I was just wondering if couch has ever been or can be configured as a multisite CMS.

Seeing how the couch/admin functionality can be above the site/s itself that makes it possible to have the point the domains to the subfolders.

It can get a bit messy in the admin although folders might tidy things up (kinda thinking out loud here :) )

Would be very interested in seeking opinions or discussing further from a technical perspective if anyone as thought or configured it.

Reason I am asking, I'm looking at retrofitting about 20 -30 websites and just want the best approach other than setting up couch for each site.

I really like how couch works and its designer friendly :)

Looking forward to anyone's feedback/input

Thanks & Regards

Thank you for the kind words, Said :)

As for the multi-site configuration, to be honest I never gave that any thought.
For the kind of sites Couch is usually used for, a single installation per site seems to be the easiest to get going.

Other heavy-weight CMSes like ExpressionEngine do support this so. I am sure, we can find the technical details and associated complexities being discussed on the Net.

We are open-source so if you, or any other fellow Coucher, could work out something in this regards, it'd be good to have options.
